The db-100 tear switch can provide an alarm signal or turn off the conveyor to the monitor when the belt is due to tearing, puncturing, junction damage or sharp objects protruding out of the belt. The tear switches are mounted in pairs on either side and are connected by two pieces of vinyl jacket aerial wire rope. One end of the rope is attached to the support bracket and the other end is attached to the gripper of the tear switch. The two pieces of string form a closed loop under the belt, and a fault is detected when an object or torn belt is suspended and one or both wires are swept down. Under the force of the wire, it pulls the pull ring out axially but makes the self-pin handle snap upward. At this time, the two micro switches will alarm or turn off the conveyor. After troubleshooting, press down the self-pin handle to reset the camshaft inside the machine to start up.

Installation and commissioning:

▲ the tear switch is arranged between the buffer idlers under the receiving section of the belt and the mounting bracket and the tear switch and the pull ring of the tear switch should be the same height as the edge of the belt. If the height is not high enough, add the pad iron or channel steel under the bracket. After measuring the height, weld the bracket and the support firmly.
